GameSpot עשו ראיון (וידאו) על Medal of Honor Heroes 2. רואים שם גם מישהו משחק בגירסאת הWii בעזרת ה Wii Zapper. אם רוצים לירות בזוקה אז שמים את הwiimote על הכתף כאילו אתה באמת זה שיורה את הבזוקה, כשאתה יורה אז אתה שומע את הירייה מהרמקול שיש בשלט ואתה מרגיש את הירייה בשלט בעזרת הרעידות שלו. כאשר אתה מקבל נשק חדש, אתה מקבל תדרוך קצר איך להשתמש בנשק הזה, ולאחר מכן כל פעם שתשתמש בנשק הזה אז יהיה איזה סימון על הצג שמזכיר לך איך להחזיק וכו' (עבור שחקנים מיומנים יש אפשרות להסיר את הסימונים האלה).

אוי אתה צודק. איזה קטע. חחח. חשבתי שלקחת את הבקרוב של IGN. סורי. מיי באד. מוד יכול למחוק את התגובה שלי?

טריילר חדש ומרשים. EA ללא ספק הופכת להיות התומכת הגדולה והמפתיעה של ה-Wii. אני בשוק ש-Ubi נעלמה ככה. מהראשונה לתמוך להתעלמות מוחלטת. משהו קורה שם.

מסכים עם הדי למשחקי המסיבה אבל לא נראה לי שה-WII היא בדיוק המקום למשחק אסטרטגיה כל כך נישה.

אני באמת מצפה למשחק, אחרי האכזבה ש-COD4 לא יצא ל-Wii, אז אני מצפה שהמשחק יקרע בצורה מסוימת את COD4 (שאשיג למחשב )
EA לדעתי הם חברה טובה מאוד למשחקים, אני משוגע אחרי ה-Battle for middle earth וה-Godfather שלהם, לכן לדעתי אם הם השקיעו במשחק הזה, הוא טוב.

EA’s WWII, FPS series has had its ups and downs. The Medal of Honor glory days were right at the start of the franchise when Allied Assault and Frontline beach landed to PCs and consoles. What made Medal of Honor so great was the feel of exploration, music, and flowing storyline. The game made you feel as though you were actually contributing to the war effort. EA’s direct connection with head WWII historians, soldiers, and weapons gave Medal of Honor a realistic, fresh take on World War 2 games.
The newest addition to the franchise is the upcoming title, Medal of Honor Heroes 2. the game was first revealed by Reggie at the Nintendo E3 2007 conference. Details were extremely scarce and the early video lasted less than fifteen seconds. Since E3, info about the game has been coming in almost every week. I’ve scoured the net to bring you a preview of what we can expect from MoH Heroes 2.

Story

• It’s June 6th, 1944, and the war is in your hands. Step into the boots of OSS Operative John Berg and infiltrate Normandy from behind enemy lines to undermine the Nazi regime.
• Objectives have a “special missions” feel.
• Missions are in the same locations during the same time frame (no missions that jump around years, or counties.)

Arcade mode

• On rails shooter that allows beginners/casual folks to get into the game at an easier pace.
• Story and missions are the exact same as single player campaign.
• Is compatible with the Wii Zapper.
• Use the control stick to lean your camera a bit (similar to Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles).

Campaign mode

• Does not use Wii Zapper. Controls are used with only the Wii remote and the Nunchuck.
• 8 missions
• 7-8 hours to complete

Multiplayer mode

• 32 player online multiplayer
• Online modes include Death match, Team death match, and Capture the flag
• Online feature is run though EA nation online service which means NO friend codes.
• Jump in and out of matches (continuous servers)
• Will feature a form of ranking system
• Players can use standard controls or on-rails controls
• 6 maps taken from the campaign missions, but have been designed to fit multiplayer matches.
• 60 frames per second, completely lag free.
• No offline split-screen

Controls

• Team looked at other Wii fps games like Call of Duty 3, and Vanguard to see what went wrong. Developers have worked hard on nailing the right FPS controls for Wii. Reports say that controls work better than the Metroid Prime 3 control scheme
• Complete list of sensitivity options
• Can change size of bounding box from extremely large, to the “size of a quarter”.
• Will feature a plethora of “non-gimmicky” motion gestures, including holding a rocket launcher up to your shoulder to fire, or mimicking the pumping action of a shot gun. Reports say that these gestures feel, and work great.
• 180° turn command

Other info

• All game modes run at a smooth 60fps.
• 480p and 16:9 widescreen support
• Graphics are greatly improved and better lighting, textures and partcle effects are used.
• Release date: November 13th, 2007

Not bad, eh? I especially like reading over the multiplayer features. No friend codes, 60fps, and tight controls just stand out. Getting both Heroes 2 and Galaxy within 2 days is really gonna hurt the o’l wallet, but I think it’ll be worth it.

הוא יוצא בחודש עמוס גם במשחקי Wii וגם במשחקי PS3.
אין תקציב.
מה גם שאהיה עסוק בMP3 שיוצא עוד קצת יותר משבועיים(לPAL).

Joystiq hands-on: Medal of Honor Heroes 2

The Medal of Honor Heroes series is an intriguing one. Opting to avoid "next gen systems," the franchise has stuck to the decidedly non-HD pastures of Wii and PSP. Both platforms have struggled to find many great FPS games, due to the control challenges inherent to each system. However, Heroes 2 triumphs over these shortcomings by tailoring the experience to the unique control schemes of these systems.

One of the biggest problems with Wii FPS games was the size of the bounding box, which made it difficult to look freely in a FPS environment (example: Red Steel). However, Metroid Prime 3's "Advanced" control scheme gave players mouse-like precision by significantly reducing the size of the bounding box. Medal of Honor Heroes 2 expands even further upon this idea, by giving players the option of fully customizing the sensitivity of the game. This allows players to play with precision that matches Nintendo's best efforts.

In addition, Heroes 2 supports the Zapper peripheral in both the campaign and a brand new Arcade mode. Although players are free to play with the Zapper in the campaign, it's clear that it's meant for this new game mode. Arcade is a translation, of sorts, of the campaign mode into a fully-fledged light gun shooter. What originally looked to be a tacked on addition at first revealed a surprising amount of depth. There's a good amount of variety in these segments, thanks to the varied controls. You can take cover, zoom in on enemies, and even use an assortment of weapons, each with a rather unique feel. The sniper rifle feels fantastic, and the rocket launcher is an obvious blast. Although each level does seem to go on for a bit too long, the branching paths and hidden secrets make it a fun and worthwhile addition to the game.



The single-player campaign doesn't stray far from previous Medal of Honor titles, offering the same arcade styled FPS gameplay the franchise is known for. The enemy AI isn't too advanced, and mission objectives are rather easy to find thanks to the linearity of the game. Clearly, the game's biggest strengths comes from its controls, as opposed to game design. All the functions of the Wii Remote feel solid, which says more than a lot of other FPS games for the system. For example, players must twist and tilt the Nunchuck to peek around corners. It feels natural, and gives the player a significant tactical advantage during battle. Also akin to Metroid Prime 3, players will encounter moments where they must move the controller towards the screen, pulling levers and switches through motion controls, rather than button presses.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii hardly revolutionizes the genre. However, it does get FPS controls right. With 32-player multiplayer support (no Friend Codes needed), Heroes 2 is seemingly the best offering online shooting fans will have on Nintendo's platform.
