My first question much alike many, was how do you create a sequel built and titled by the song used in the first movie, simple... get the remix. This option was quite risky and weather or not it pays off is still unclear to me. The thing I remember about Erasus was that it was a pleasant surprise, it came from nowhere and had a certain appeal that alot of people including myself liked. Erasus 2 features the caliber frags from top players from around the world, the same sound soundtrack just slightly remixed, but whats different? The editing is a little more over the top here, and the break style editing early on is hardcore enough to leave the epileptic in a coma. Everything is moving so quickly that it almost looks glitchy, this over time left an uneasy feeling in my stomach Another thing here is that 'Erasus' has been used in way to many videos now, remixed or not it must be retired. The sync to the soundtracks was very good, at points too good as you don't have to sync every beat in the song. The big question is weather or not this video succeeds the original, and that I leave up to you.

BLAKKMAGIK interviews films producer, Michael "der4twu" Aichmüller.
1) Hey der4twu, why don't you take a second right here and introduce the man behind the handle that I have no idea how to pronounce?

Hey, I`m Michael Aichmüller and I`m 16 years old. I live in a rather small town near Munich , Germany. Regarding moviemaking , I started in early 2008 to load up the program called Sony Vegas and created clips none of you would ever want to see. Next to moviemaking , I like playing Tennis and go climbing. My name is not actually hard to pronounce! The "4" is a replacement for an "a" as everyone loves l33tspeak, so you get the name "deratwu" which means....forget it , just call me Michael.
2) You're another one who's first movie was a breakout hit. To what do you attribute that to?

Well , if it hadn`t been for that catchy song it probaly wouldn`t have been such a great hit. But of course a nice song doesn`t make a movie nice as well. It was a big help that I used professional players` footage only, because at that time many got bored by watching random onliners fragging other low pcw-material. I guess I simply found a good mix between "showing great frags" and "syncing them to the music".
3) I remember Erasus 1, it's still one of my favorites. As I recall, I reviewed it and loved the frags and soundtrack, but made a special note that the intro and outro were lacking and I know a few people in the community said the same thing. Did you take the critique and improve upon those areas in Erasus 2?

Yes , I definitely tried my best to make the intro and outro keep up with the rest , although i actually already liked my intro of part 1 . I took much more time with those areas this time , so that hopefully not many will have to complain about it again. As for me , I like both , intro and outro, in Erasus 2.
4) For the content, you chose once again to only feature top EU and US players instead of community members. Why make this choice instead of gathering frags from everyday players?

Well , as mentioned above , a lot of people ,including me, have seen enough pcw kills. It is simply boring. What is so great about 1 deaging a bunch of BOTs in human mode? I simply dont like to watch those movies anymore, so it wasnt a hard decision to make. If I ever make a community , I`ll be sure to take officials only.
5) I don't think anyone, myself included, was expecting a sequel to a movie named after the soundtrack. Had you always planned on making this a series or was this just a "wouldn't it be cool if-" kind of thing?

You hit the bullseye with the latter. I found this remix a while ago and at first I thought that it wasnt a good idea to make a sequel with a remix of the song from the first part. But then after thinking about it quite some time , it came to my mind that probably noone has ever tried that and I should give it a shot, what did I have to lose?
6) It was definitely a risk using the same song, albeit a remix, again. What steps did you take to make sure this wasn't just an entire remix of Erasus 1?

This is a tough question, but to break it down you could say that the remix and the original one are more like 2 different songs with the same lyrics. The original one is more fluent with beats here and there, the remix has harder beats , more beats and less guitar making it more a stop-and-go version. With that in mind I didnt have to think much to make Erasus 2 differentiate from Erasus 1. Actually i tried to reinclude styles of part 1 into part2 to mark its status as a sequel.
7) Alright enough about the movie. What's your favorite band right now, and don't say Subkulture because I know you have got to be sick of them by now.

Haha , you`re right, I already am sick of hearing it. Lately I`ve been kind of sucked into the drum n bass world , but my all time favourite would be Celldweller.
8) How about some other favorites? Favorite producer? Favorite frag movie? Favorite... uh, I'm out, choose a category and name your favorite.

My favourite producer would probably be k1u, the guy with the most creative head and talent. My favourite frag movie is Jaegarn X , simply beautiful! My favourite website would be SourceRadio , come check out the movie vault guys , It`s awesome! (Bank account data will be given later)
