The Plots
Lord, one day I'd LOVE to see the repercussions of a Star Trek event happen outside the Our Heroes micro-verse. In Babylon 5, you see the effects of assignation of President Santiago, the rise of vice president Clark and the revolt of most of the Earth colonies, on places OTHER than just the station. Lets see that happen on Star Trek.
Technobabble explanations. Nonsense quantum particles of the week- from a show that claims to be scientific accurate! (and this show has a exhibit currently touring scientific museums promoting education? What a laugh!) Oh, BTW- news flash! Paramount, in an effort to make the show more accessable to the general audiance, is DUMBING DOWN an already moronic show. Humph, it didnt occur to the Powers That Be to raise the QUALITY of the scripts, instead of simply removing all the bogus Treknobabble and convoluted settings.
So, what- do the writers have a big wheel of plot? One spin gets characters trapped on a Holodeck, while another spin gets them sucked into a time warp? My god- if I wanted THIS much time travel, I'd watch Doctor Who or Quantum Leap!
