כן כן, אכלנו את אותו הקקי כבר פעמיים..והנה אדון פדרמן מאכיל אותנו שוב פעם...אנשים יקרים, האם אתם זוכרים את השמועה על Rare שנקנית על ידי Microsoft שהופצה בכל הרשת לפניי חודש?...זה הופיע ב CVG, זה הופיע ב Games Radar..זה הופיע גם ב TotalVideogames וגם ב Voodooextreme...
אכן, זו הייתה שמועה תוססת....עד שפתאום, התגלתה אמת מרה ביותר...ממציא השמועה, אשר הינו אדם חסר חיים, אבל שנון ומניפולטיבי בצורה מדהימה, אשר ידוע בכינויו ברשת כ Lord Federman...הפיץ שמועה, אשר נשמעה כרישמית...השמועה הכילה את הציטוט הבא שאדון פדרמן הביא:

הציטוט המדהים הזה, הופיע בכל האתרים הנ"ל- במיוחד ב CVG ו GamesRadar בוא הוא נקרא "ציטוט ממקור אמין"...ולורד פדרמן היקר, לא סתם חבר פורום רגיל ב Gaming Age...אלא מודורטור, ולפי מה שהבנתי הוא כתב..כתב של Gaming Age....בחור קצת מטורלל...
לכן אחרי שטמבל קטן מ Voodooextreme נכנס וראה את ידיעתו של פדרמן המודורטור, הוא לקח זאת ברצינות, ופרסם זאת באתרו עם אותו הציטוט, שאם תשימו לב- מדבר על Activision ו Rare! האין זה צירוף מקרים משעשע??...
משם הידיעה עברה ל TVG ומשם לפורומים של IGN, וכך זה התגלגל ל CVG ו Gamesradar כמו כלום, אך אתרים רציניים כמו Gamespot ו IGN לא טרחו אפילו לירוק לעבר הידיעה או לפרסם אותה באתרם...
ובתור הוכחה, הנה ידיעה שמספרת על ה"מקורות" ב Gaming Age שטענו כך- זו ידיעה של VoodooExtreme:
Today, Gaming-Age™ received an "insider" e-mail from deep within the bowels of Microsoft. It seems after months of speculation and dollar figures being passed around, Microsoft has accomplished the impossible. They've bought out Rare from Nintendo. Nintendo was more than happy to sell Rare given the setbacks with the second-party concerning GameCube development. The rumors of Star Fox Adventures being delayed until Fall are indeed true, as so Microsoft can carry out Rare's debut Xbox title. Here is a real e-mail sent earlier tonight (this is completely true)...

אחרי 24 שעות- יממה שלמה..לורד פדרמן חזר לת'רד שלו וצחק בקול גדול...זו הייתה מתיחה...לא פחות ולא יותר...וחשוב לציין שהמתיחה שלו נמשכה במשך כל היום, היו גם את הפיברוקים הבאים שנראים כמו מכתבים רשמיים מקן לוב במייקרוסופט, וממייקרוסופט עצמה:

As an established forum poster, I read your article which leaked valuable information thanks to some internal mole. Your sources are correct, Rare is coming to Microsoft. It was the reason for my departure.
I also have secured the temporary licensing rights to Star Fox, so that Rare can continue work as planned and not start Dinosaur Planet from scratch again. Working closely with some of the Japanese executives, Nintendo has made it clear that they don't really care about Star Fox or Rare anymore.
Microsoft is not one to take advantage of someone though, so we offered Nintendo the licensing rights to Azurik for their own personal use. They seemed to think it was a fair deal. It's this kind of industry negotiations that will help gamers in the long run.
I appreciate you letting me able to explain this situation to our valuable customers at the Gaming-Age forum. Hopefully if we inform them, we'll avoid a possible national publication picking up the story until E3. This way they'll think nothing of it but forum speculation.

כמובן שיהיה ברור שהכל מפוברק על ידי הלורד החביב...
הכל מצטרף יפה לידיעה שהחלה מצירוף של Activison ו Microsoft ו Rare...אחרי שהוא גילה שהידיעה שמייקרוסופט קונה את Rare הייתה מתיחה גדולה..כל האתרים מיהרו להסיר את ידיעות החדשות האלה מהעמודים הראשיים....
אחת השבירות של פדרמן בהן הוא הודה, כללה את התמונה הבאה:
והנה הלוגו של מייקרוסופט בצד ימין! כמה חמוד ורציני...
אבל לורד פדרמן היה מודע להצלחה שלו, הת'רדים של בפורום ה Xbox של אתרו- Gaming Age נחלו הצלחה בעבר..לכן הוא טרח לעשות זאת בשנית...
היום הוא עשה את אותו טריק, והפיץ את שמועת Rare ו Activision ברשת בקלות, בעוד הוא כאילו מדבר בשם Gaming Age עצמם!...
Gamesradar ו CVG כמובן קנו את זה כרגיל, ופרסמו את השטות הזו בשנית....
עכשיו טבעי שתגידו, "היי! מי אמר שהפעם זה בא ממנו?? כמה הוכחות קטנות לא מספיקות"....אז הבא ניגש לשלב הבא.....הוידוי!
היום לורד פדרמן צועד בגאווה לפורום שלו ב Gaming Age...ושוב צוחק על כולנו בפנים!...הנה הת'רד של המודורטור החביב, בוא הוא מתוודה, שהכל הייתה מתיחה -ושימו לב למילים האלה- מפרי דמיונו האישי..והוא אומר זאת בפירוש...לפניכם הת'רד, קראו אותו היטב ואת הודעותיו של פדרמן, אשר ישר כשגיליתי על קיום ההודעה הזו, זיהיתי אותו מהפעם הקודמת...קיראו לפחות שלושה עמודים:
